I hate to admit it, but it doesn’t take much to cause me to spiral sometimes. Thoughts like, “I bet she’s annoyed with me,” or “Everyone probably thinks I’m a terrible writer,” or, my personal favorite, “Everyone hates me,” said with much exasperation and despair. This is usually said after being pounded by a perceived slight on Instagram or an opportunity I wish I’d received instead of someone else. And then there’s that podcast I wish I could be on, too. Or that group of friends I’ll never crack into.
What’s the source of each and every one of these wrestlings? You guessed it. Social media.

I'd encourage you to read Brittany's article and free yourself of the social media trap.
